The supervisory authorities of the EMERCOM of Russia have registered about 8 thousand churches and temples involved in the celebration of Holy Easter.

During the festive events, more than 16 thousand people of the FPS EMERCOM of Russia personnel will be on duty, including 5.6 thousand employees of supervisory activities. With their participation, about 6 thousand temporary posts are organized with the involvement of 2.5 thousand units of fire fighting equipment.

In the pre-holiday period, the department carried out large-scale preventive work in the field of fire safety. In particular, the inspectors of the state fire control organized about 10 thousand preventive fire-prevention inspections of objects, 7 thousand practical trainings for evacuating people in the event of a fire, as well as over 12 thousand instructions and conversations with service personnel on fire safety issues and 9 thousand consultations of responsible officials on the implementation of the established fire safety requirements.

In the course of the work carried out, 2 thousand violations of fire safety requirements were identified and suppressed. Moreover, over 800 of them were eliminated promptly.

During divine services, special care must be taken when handling candles. When lighting them, make sure that the fire does not touch clothing and hair. Do not place candles in the hands of children. In the event of a fire, take off your clothing quickly and try to extinguish it with a fire extinguisher or cover with thick material.

In temples, try to keep your distance from other parishioners. When entering the churches, study their layout and specify the escape routes.

In the event of a fire alarm and fire alarm system, leave the prayer hall immediately without creating panic and crowding.
