Military hospitals and clinics will continue to vaccinate against COVID-19 during the May holidays. Despite the days off, military pensioners, veterans of wars and local conflicts, family members of military personnel will be able to apply to medical institutions of the Central Military District on a daily basis.

In the regions of the Volga region, more than 30 thousand thousand servicemen, members of their families, cadets of military universities, civilian employees of military units and organizations, as well as veterans of the Armed Forces were vaccinated against COVID-19.

The vaccination involves people who have not previously had COVID-19 and do not have antibodies to coronavirus infection. Vaccination is carried out on a voluntary basis with the written consent of citizens. Before the procedure, the vaccinated undergo a medical examination by a therapist and take an antibody test. They are also interviewed to inform them about the coronavirus and the effects of Gam-COVID-Vac (Sputnik V) on the human body.
