On the eve of the celebration of Bright Easter, military bakers will bake more than 2 thousand cakes for Orthodox servicemen of the 201st military base of the Russian Federation, stationed in Tajikistan.

Easter cakes will be made exclusively from natural products: flour, sugar, butter, local raisins, cottage cheese, milk and will be baked in traditional forms. The chefs will also paint about 3 thousand Easter eggs. All baked goods will be consecrated by Priest Roman Chebonenko, assistant commander of the military base for work with believers, right in the soldiers’ cafeteria. Every serviceman will be able to taste the cooked cakes on the day of a bright holiday during breakfast or lunch.

The 201st military base stationed in Tajikistan is Russia’s largest military facility outside its borders. Located in two cities – Dushanbe and Bokhtar. It includes motorized rifle, tank, artillery, reconnaissance units, air defense units, RCB protection and communications.
