Operational officers of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Moscow Region and the Center for Countering Extremism of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow Region suppressed the criminal activities of persons belonging to the international extremist movement “AUE”, which was recognized as banned in Russia.

In the course of the joint operational-search measures and investigative actions in one of the pre-trial detention centers of the Moscow region, as well as at the place of residence of the participants of the MOD “AUE” who are at large, illegal correspondence propagandizing this extremist movement, bank cards, to the accounts of which funds were transferred to finance the criminal activities of the defendants and other material evidence.

On April 21, 2021, on this fact, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Moscow Region initiated a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an extremist organization).
