The first night rehearsal of the military parade to mark the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held on Victory Square in Kaliningrad under the leadership of Deputy Commander of the Baltic Fleet Vice Admiral Sergei Eliseev.

In total, about 2,300 servicemen of the Baltic Fleet and other law enforcement agencies of the region took part in it.

During the rehearsal, the coordination of actions of the personnel of the ceremonial teams, banner groups and the guard of honor, the greeting of the commander of the Baltic Fleet, the passage of a solemn march and other combat elements were worked out.

The rehearsal was attended by military equipment, which was represented by large-caliber guns “Hyacinth”, anti-aircraft missile systems “S-400”, anti-aircraft gun systems “Pantsir-S1” tactical missile systems “Iskander”, anti-ship coastal missile systems “Bal” and “Bastion”, multiple launch rocket systems “Hurricane” and “Grad”, armored reconnaissance and patrol vehicles, multi-axle heavy tractors and other cars and armored vehicles. In total, more than 70 pieces of equipment in service with the formations and military units of the Baltic Fleet, as well as equipment of the war years, passed through the main square of Kaliningrad as part of a mechanized convoy.

The next rehearsal of the military parade in Kaliningrad will take place on May 05 at 21.00 local time.
