Albert Mustafin, an employee of the Smerch special purpose department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan, saved the life of a man drowning in Lake Karyernoye. This event took place on May 30, 2021.

Albert Mustafin decided to devote this day off to sports and was jogging on the shore of the lake, when a group of people called Albert for help. People shouted that the person had been under water for a long time and was not trying to emerge.

Albert Mustafin, without hesitation, dived into the lake in search of a body and lifted the drowned man from the bottom, although it was difficult to do this from a depth of 4 meters.

Having pulled the man ashore, Albert began to provide first aid and immediately began resuscitation measures, after which he transferred the further work to the hands of the rescuers of the city of Ufa who arrived in time. Until the arrival of rescuers and medical assistance, Albert did everything necessary to keep the man alive.
