The exposition can be seen on Tsvetnoy Boulevard; it will open on June 1 and will run until the end of the month.
Travel service for the Day of Russia Russpassopens a photography exhibition about travel. It features 30 unique pictures taken by travel bloggers.
The pictures show how the Kalaus River meanders in the Stavropol Territory, the sun sets behind the mountains of Ingushetia, huge whales splash in the bays of the Shantar Islands of the Khabarovsk Territory.
The history of each photo is unique. To photograph the aurora borealis, Boris Zenin ascended the 1198-meter Granitny peak of the Iskaten ridge near the village of Egvekinot in Chukotka. To get to the place, the photographer had to go by car along the Egvekinot – Cape Schmidt highway to the 30 km mark, and then climb on foot to the top of the cliff for several hours.
Photographer Fyodor Lashkov shared the composition techniques that he used when shooting in the Ladoga Skerries National Park in Karelia.
“On one of the dawns there was a stunning sky. Shooting the panorama, I tried to use a cloud of an unusual shape in the composition of the landscape. Thanks to the successful shooting point, the rocks and the forest formed a single silhouette with the cloud, and the effect of a volcanic eruption was obtained, ”said Fedor Lashkov.
