In all units and subunits, the assignment and delivery of military equipment and weapons to personnel who arrived in the troops for further service took place. Intensive training of command and control bodies and troops (forces) in the summer period of training, as in all recent years, will be of an interspecific character. In May, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation held demonstration, instructor-methodological and assembly events. During the preparatory period, engineering departments carried out a complete cleaning of explosives from over 445 thousand hectares of landfills. By the beginning of the summer training period, more than 6.5 thousand polygon objects have been prepared. In addition, over 23 thousand units of landfill equipment were fully serviced and transferred to summer operation. Based on the results of inspections by the military command and control bodies, it is noted that the training grounds are ready to carry out combat training activities for troops (forces) without restrictions.
The training activities of the Armed Forces in the winter training period were carried out in full. During this period, more than 1600 tactical exercises of various levels took place, including more than 700 bilateral and more than 500 interspecies. “
During the summer training period, the main efforts of commanders of all grades will be aimed at coordinating headquarters and subunits, improving tactical and tactical-special training, introducing elements of army tactical shooting, which makes it possible to destroy the enemy in any conditions in a short period of time, taking into account the factor of surprise.
It is planned to conduct more than 3 thousand tactical exercises at the battalion-regiment-brigade level, during which new forms and methods of tactical actions of troops will be used, using reconnaissance and strike complexes, unmanned aerial vehicles, automated command and control systems for troops and weapons.
All military training activities will be conducted in conditions as close as possible to a combat situation, with half of the exercises taking place at night. The practice of introducing the experience gained in the course of armed conflicts into combat training will continue.
The culmination of combat training in 2021 will be the joint strategic exercise of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus “West-2021”, in preparation for which the combat training tasks of the forces involved will be progressively more complicated. Within the framework of the SSU, special exercises are planned for the types of combat and material-technical support. Directly during the period of the CFM, the issues of transportation by various types of transport, marches, all types of hostilities, taking into account the experience of modern armed conflicts, including countering illegal and irregular armed formations, will be worked out.
The closest attention will be paid to the organization of the educational process in units preparing specialists and junior commanders.
During the summer period of training, many military units will continue to fight for the right to receive the name “shock”. This honorary title can be awarded to units that have achieved high performance in combat training, military discipline and daily activities.
