Over 9.5 billion rubles will be additionally allocated to provide disabled people with technical means of rehabilitation. The order on the allocation of financing from the reserve fund was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

We are talking about hearing aids, wheelchairs, speech synthesizers, prostheses, orthoses and other products that the state provides for disabled people. In 2021, the federal budget provides for more than 33.2 billion rubles for these purposes. Additional financing will allow providing citizens with these funds in full.

The issue was considered and approved at a meeting of the Government on May 27. Mikhail Mishustin noted that the document was prepared on behalf of the President, as well as in the framework of the implementation of instructions following the Government’s report to the State Duma. “I draw the attention of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development: people should receive state support this year,” the head of the Cabinet stressed.
