At the Konstantinovna training ground in the Penza region, the winners of the 2nd stage of the All-Army Competition “Master-Gunsmith” were awarded, during which the best military gunsmiths for anti-aircraft installations were determined. The chief judge of the competition, Colonel Mikhail Filatov, presented medals and certificates to the team of the Penza Artillery Engineering Institute, which won the stage. According to the conditions, the servicemen had to carry out an extreme towing of the damaged ZU-23 anti-aircraft gun from the conditional battlefield to the repair base and carry out its repair. One of the difficult episodes of the competition was the towing of equipment for 5 km, overcoming a water barrier, a mound, a slope, an infected area of the terrain, as well as other artificial and natural obstacles.

In total, 8 teams take part in the competition, representing the military districts, the Penza Artinstitute, the Airborne Forces and the Russian Guard. The competition has 5 stages in total. The winners will be determined at the complex relay race of repair platoons, which will take place on June 4.
