Thanks to the project, it was possible to expand the coverage of the inspected territories by 10 times and to increase the number of inspected objects in the Central Administrative District by 30 times.
The Mobile Inspector project was launched in eight more districts of the capital – South, West, North, East, South-West, South-East, North-East and Zelenogradsky. Now specialists of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate can use electric scooters to check even more territories.
“Within the framework of the Mobile Inspector project, which was launched in pilot mode last year, the specialists of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate managed to expand the coverage of the inspected territories 10 times and increase the number of inspected objects in the Central Administrative District by 30 times. After successful testing of the project, it was decided to scale it up to eight more administrative districts of the capital. If the project proves itself well, then we will extend it to all the remaining districts, including the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas, ”said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations
Electric scooters reach speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour, said the head of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate Vladislav Ovchinsky. On a single charge, they can travel a distance of 35–55 kilometers. Thus, inspectors save about three hours during one working day.
“As an example of objects identified during a scooter tour, one can cite an unauthorized extension to a two-storey building at the address: Nakhimovsky Prospect, possession 57. The unauthorized building area was 31.8 square meters. As established by experts, a permit for the construction of the facility and its commissioning was not issued, the extension was not registered in the cadastral register, and the ownership right was not registered. Currently, the development of documentation for the dismantling of the illegal construction is underway, ”noted Vladislav Ovchinsky.
Specialists of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate monitor whether non-residential buildings and territories in Moscow are legally used. They prevent and suppress all offenses.
The State Inspectorate for Real Estate is the only supervisory authority of the Moscow Government to use electric scooters in its work. In addition, they are used by employees of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. And the police patrol service in some cities uses a similar type of two-wheeled transport – electric scooters.
