In the formations and military units of the Ivanovo formation of the Airborne Forces, solemn rallies were held with the participation of representatives of the division command and personnel, dedicated to the beginning of the summer training period in the Russian Armed Forces and the Airborne Forces.

In the summer training period, a rich combat training is expected, the basis of which will be the combat training of personnel, which will take place at the ranges of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Force.

The main focus of personnel training will be focused on high-quality single training of servicemen, with the consistent improvement of the training of paratroopers as part of squads, crews, crews, subunits, military units and formations as a whole.

In his speech to the personnel of the Ivanovo parachute regiment, the commander of the guards unit, Colonel Viktor Gunaza, summed up the results for the first half of the year, noting that “the personnel of the entire regiment confidently performed all the assigned tasks of the higher command and took the third place among the airborne regiments on the scale of the Airborne Forces, the first place was taken by the Kostroma paratrooper regiment ”.

“So our illustrious unit,” said Victor Gunaza, “is in a leading position, and in the summer training period, the task is not to lower the bar, but only to improve and consolidate the unit’s position in the Airborne Forces.”

Each driver-mechanic of the Guards Airborne Forces unit drove more than 130 kilometers, and the drivers of wheeled vehicles about 200 kilometers, having gained tremendous experience in the practical driving of the equipment entrusted to them. The compound planned and performed about 15 thousand jumps from various types of aircraft. During the exercises of various levels, more than 80 objects were dropped.
