The building, built for the party elite in the first half of the 20th century, will be renovated inside and out.

Overhaul will take place at 22 Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The drainage systems will be updated, the basements will be put in order and the facade will be repaired.

Local residents call the six-story house in Dorogomilov the house of Alexander Dovzhenko. The famous director, writer and playwright lived here, as evidenced by a memorial plaque located on the house from the side of Kutuzovsky Prospekt.

The building for the party elite has been designed since 1936. Initially, it was planned to build two different houses – 22 and 24. The left part was designed by G. Wolfenzon, the right – Z. Rosenfeld and V. Izvekov. This affected the appearance of the resulting house. The central and right parts of it look simple, built without frills, they were built quite quickly, and in 1941 they were already partially inhabited. And the left side of the facade is decorated with two-story arched galleries of balconies and wide ribbed cornices. They continued to be built after the war.

Repairs will be carried out in strict accordance with all standards and regulations. Metropolitan Fund for capital repairs of apartment buildings does its best not to cause inconvenience to residents.
