Near Saratov, at the all-army stage of the Army Reserve-2021 competition for food service specialists, military chefs prepared a full-fledged lunch according to the established menu, despite the strong wind and torrential rain. Competitions were held in the field at the training complex of the branch of the Military Academy of MTO “Red Field”.
The commission evaluated the quality of such dishes as vinaigrette with beans, mixed meat hodgepodge, fish meatballs with baked whipped protein with rice and vegetables under Hollandaise sauce, a warm appetizer “Turkey with apple, prunes and basic red sauce” and lemon jelly.
The competition, in which more than 90 chefs representing military districts, types and branches of the Armed Forces of the RF Armed Forces, take part, will end on June 5, 2021.
