As part of the work carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, on increasing the effectiveness of military-patriotic education in pre-university naval educational institutions, pupils of the Sevastopol branch of the Nakhimov School visited the exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, “Relatives ! .. Don’t worry about me … “(from letters from the front), opened in the branch of the Central Naval Museum named after Emperor Peter the Great” Museum of the Black Sea Fleet. “

The Nakhimovites were also offered a thematic excursion “Children in the history of the city of Sevastopol and the Black Sea Fleet during the years of the second heroic defense of Sevastopol in 1941-1942”, as well as an interactive lecture “Young heroes of Sevastopol …” with viewing a short film based on a documentary chronicle about the heroism of Sevastopol children during the war.

To participate in the quiz “My childhood is war!” (children – participants of the second heroic defense of Sevastopol in 1941-1942 during the Great Patriotic War), which consisted of two stages: “Blitz-questions for teams” and “Club of experts”, pupils were divided into two teams of nine people each. Each team has chosen a name for itself: “Comet” and “Star”. The winner was the “Comet” team, whose participants were awarded certificates. The event ended with a ceremonial formation on the front staircase of the museum for a commemorative photograph.
