Servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the tank formation of the combined-arms formation of the Eastern Military District, stationed in the Republic of Buryatia, began special training at the Divisional training ground. The servicemen are practicing overcoming the “Scout’s Trail” obstacle course and the destruction of the conditional DRG.

The “scout’s trail” is a kilometer-long strip. It was developed by military professionals and includes more than 30 elements that must teach scouts to perform combat missions in the most difficult conditions: stone walls, underground passages, suspension bridges, barbed wire fences, a railway line and fragments of city structures.

In addition to physical endurance, to overcome the obstacle course, military personnel must not only be in good physical shape, but also be able to shoot accurately and handle any type of weapon. To create a situation as close as possible to combat, servicemen use a significant number of imitation tools, including explosives and smoke.
