On the initiative of the administration of the village of Dzhari, a volunteer clean-up was held on the banks of the Amur. Schoolchildren and teachers from the village of Troitskoye and employees of the Inspection Department of the State Inspection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Nanaysky District took part in the action “Clean Coast”.

Adults and children cleaned up garbage on the riverbank. Over the course of several kilometers, they collected the remaining plastic, paper packaging, glass and other “traces” of a person. As a result of the work, the truck body was completely filled with bags.

As a reward for the work, another useful lesson on water safety was held for schoolchildren. Inspectors of the GIMS EMERCOM of Russia told them about the simplest means of rescue – a lifebuoy and a vest. With this equipment, you can save a drowning man. In addition, in settlements located by the river, almost every family has a boat. This means that life jackets must be in them. Therefore, the children were taught the importance of putting on a lifejacket when going on a boat trip on a fishing trip or on a river trip.

The guys listened with interest to the EMERCOM employees and asked questions. Each of them could try his hand at saving a person himself, and also try on a vest.

Similar lessons for schoolchildren and preschoolers are held throughout the year. With the beginning of summer holidays in the EMERCOM of Russia, the action “My Safe Holidays” started, which is primarily aimed at teaching children the rules of behavior in various situations in everyday life, on the water, in the natural environment, in order to reduce injuries and deaths among minors, to increase their responsible attitude to the issues of life safety.
