In Vladivostok, the all-army stage of the “Marine landing” field training competition continues in which teams of marines from the Baltic, Northern, Black Sea and Pacific fleets, the Caspian Flotilla, as well as cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School and the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School take part.

At the Gornostay range of the Pacific Fleet Marine Corps, the participants of the second stage of the competition passed the difficult route “Tops of Survival” with a length of 4.3 kilometers, laid over rough terrain with natural and artificial obstacles. The distance provided for an area for performing exercises with small arms and a grenade launcher, a platform for working out standards for the main subjects of combat training.

The Survival Trail stage is conducted to determine the ranking among the Marine Corps units. The start is given simultaneously for the entire squad, the finish is fixed by the last soldier of the subdivision.

According to the rules, each soldier performs an exercise in military uniforms in individual body armor, with standard weapons. In case of failure to overcome the obstacle, the squad receives penalty seconds to the total time.

After the completion of two stages of the Marine Assault competition, the Northern Fleet team is in the lead. On June 9 and 10, on the tactical field of Cape Clerk, the final stage of the competition, the “Relay”, will take place, which will determine the winner of the All-Army Competition “Amphibious Assault-2021”.
