In accordance with the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, representatives of the Main Command of the Navy took part in the solemn ceremony of initiation of the cadets of the College of the State University of Maritime and River Fleet named after S.O. Makarova

In St. Petersburg, on the square of the GUMRF College, 200 cadets of the 2nd year were brought to the Solemn Oath of the Yunarmian and joined the ranks of the cabin boy of the All-Russian military-patriotic movement YUNARMIA.

At the beginning of the ceremony, under the oncoming march, the flag groups of the Guard of Honor company brought in the State flag of the Russian Federation, the flag of St. Makarov and Yunarmiya.

Further, the young sailors pronounced the Solemn Oath of the Yunarmeyts, after which they were presented with the badges and certificates of the Yunarmeyts.

At the end of the ceremony, the cadets laid flowers at the monument “In memory of the sailors of the Polar Convoys.”
