Servicemen of engineering units of the Central Military District (CVD) will erect five bridges in the Republic of Tuva during a special tactical exercise. This was announced by the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin.

“In order to ensure transport accessibility of social facilities for residents of two districts of the Tyva Republic and restore communication on regional and local highways, engineering units in the region will equip five new bridges,” said the commander of the military district, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin.

Three bridges with a length of about 80 meters each will be equipped across the Mogen-Buren River, and two bridges up to 20 meters long will be erected on the Chyrgaki River.

More than 50 servicemen of engineering units of the Central Military District and about 20 units of engineering equipment will be involved in a special tactical exercise on equipping bridge crossings in Tuva.
