Dmitry Korovin, Deputy Duty Assistant to the Head of the Colony of the Duty Unit of the Security Department of IK-2 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Lipetsk Region, took part in the VI Russian Final of the United Corporate Hockey League 2021 as part of the Green Hill hockey team in the Trainee division.

The VI Russian Finals of OKHL 2021 took place at the Olympic venues in the city of Sochi, in which 20 teams from 14 regions of the Russian Federation took part. The organizing committee decided this year to proceed from real possibilities and hold the Finals only in 4 divisions: “Veterans 50+”, “Optimist”, “Trainee” and “Debutant”.

All matches were played in an equal and tough struggle, giving both players and spectators great pleasure. Photojournalists worked at all matches of the tournament and were broadcasted live. This made it possible for the relatives and friends of the participants who were unable to come to the tournament, to watch the play of their teams, and to support them remotely.

Teams were awarded on the ice, immediately after the completion of matches on the last game day. Regardless of the place taken by the team, absolutely everyone went home with a good memory of the tournament. The winners in each division were awarded with Cups and medals, seven nominations for the best players in the divisions and the best players for each team were awarded with individual prizes. Tournament participants who did not win prizes were also awarded with pennants and mementos.

It is worth noting that Dmitry Korovin is nominated for the Russian Finals 2021 as the best striker.
