Pupils of the branch of the Nakhimov Naval School in Kaliningrad began their annual naval practice. In addition to specialized studies on the territory of the school, young sailors visit museums, military units and formations of the Baltic Fleet, where they immerse themselves even more in the specifics of their chosen profession.

As part of the practice, the 5th-year Nakhimovites visited a brigade of surface ships, where they got acquainted with the device and tactical and technical capabilities of hovercraft and the latest corvettes of the Russian Navy.

For one day, the Nakhimovites plunged into the daily organization of the ship service, got acquainted with the living conditions and life of military sailors.

While at the main base of the Baltic Fleet in Baltiysk, the students of the branch visited the Pillau fortress and the Baltic Fleet Museum, where they learned about the history of the formation of the Kaliningrad region, the historical milestones of the creation and development of the Baltic Fleet and the exploits of Baltic sailors in different years.

Within two weeks, all Nakhimovites will be able to try themselves in the role of future sailors.
