The work of the Russian Export Center (REC) with agent companies abroad allowed it to conclude export contracts for $ 46 million for seven months of the mechanism’s operation. This was announced in an interview with TASS by the head of the REC Veronika Nikishina on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

According to her, the model of the foreign network of the export center consists of 11 representative offices of the REC, export support groups in the trade missions of the Russian Federation, as well as work with agents abroad, which was launched at the end of 2020.

“We are looking for residents of foreign countries, including our compatriots who live abroad and are ready to promote our exports, and we invite them to become our partners. These people are neither in our state, nor in the state of the trade mission, but through communication with the exporter are our export providers. We have just started piloting this third approach, but have already signed export contracts for $ 46 million [for seven months of the mechanism’s operation], “she said.

REC partners are companies that have confirmed their successful experience, competencies and business reputation through a multi-level and thorough examination of the REC, as well as successfully passed accreditation.
