Servicemen of the reconnaissance units of the combined arms formation of the Central Military District (CVO), as part of a camp gathering, went to the Yurginsky training ground in the Kemerovo region to improve field training. More than 500 military scouts take part in the camp gathering.

During the event, servicemen will perform various combat training tasks at different times of the day in a changing environment. The scouts will work out the organization of observation posts, reconnaissance ambushes, actions on patrol, camouflage techniques and covert movement in open and rugged terrain. Special attention will be paid to the individual training of military personnel, as well as the use of small arms, modern technical reconnaissance equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles.

In addition, the scouts will carry out landing with the D-10 parachute system as part of improving their airborne training skills.

The final stage of the camp gathering will be a tactical and special exercise with live fire and the performance of special training and combat missions.

The combined arms formation of the Central Military District is deployed in the Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Omsk, Tyumen, Irkutsk regions, Altai Territory and the Republic of Tyva. It includes motorized rifle, artillery and anti-aircraft missile formations, signal troops, radiation, chemical and biological protection.
