Engineering networks are being changed in buildings, facades, roofs, basements and entrances are being repaired.

In four houses in the Central Administrative District, work began on overhaul… These are buildings of different periods of construction in Daev and Denisovsky lanes, on Povarskaya and Sadovaya-Sukharevskaya streets. The types of work to be performed this year are approved by the short-term plan for 2021-2023. In total, it includes 4437 residential buildings.

Overhaul began in a building built over a century ago – in 1912. This is a 5-storey apartment building 4 in Daev Lane. A small building with one entrance is close to neighboring houses and stands out with a pediment in the center of the roof. The windows of its first floor are decorated with lion masks. Female heads are located above the windows of the second. At the level of the third floor there is a cornice, and between the fourth and fifth floors there is a frieze with a Greek meander ornament. The same ornament adorns the windows of the third floor. During a major overhaul, power supply networks are changed in the building, the facade, roofs, basements and entrances are updated.

The renovation began in the house on the corner of Povarskaya Street and Trubnikovsky Lane built in 1912. By order of A.F. Talanov was built by Leonid Stezhensky. The ground floor is decorated with rustication on a dark beige background. The semicircular windows of the first floor are crowned with a wedge-shaped keystone. The rest of the rectangular windows are decorated with sandrids, which make the building more graceful. The lower and upper floors are also highlighted with cornices. In 1915, the Society of Georgians in Moscow was located in Talanov’s apartment building; during the First World War, it organized an infirmary here for seriously wounded soldiers. After the 1917 revolution, the building housed communal apartments. Shops have always been open on the ground floor; post office number 69 has been preserved since the 1920s.

This year, the building will be renovated power supply networks, drainage systems, heat supply, hot and cold water supply. The renovation has already begun on the roof of the house, in its basements. The final stage will be the renovation of the entrances. The facade of the building will also be tidied up. The specialists will not only preserve the historical appearance of the apartment building, but also make it comfortable for living.

Overhaul began in a nine-story building at 13/15 Sadovaya-Sukharevskaya Street, it was built in 1958. The facade of the building overlooking the Garden Ring is devoid of any decorative elements, only austere brickwork and a small cubic ornament under the roof itself. It was erected during the time of Nikita Khrushchev, who criticized architectural excesses. There are eight residential floors near the building, the first one has always housed shops. In Soviet times, a popular shoe store operated here. The house was numbered due to its location: in its place there were two apartment buildings, 13 and 15. When they were demolished, the new high-rise building was assigned a double number. As part of a major overhaul in the house, the power supply networks are changed, the drainage systems, hot and cold water supply and heat supply systems are put in order. In addition, the workers will replace the garbage chute, repair the roof, basement and entrances.

House 3/5, built in 1959, is being renovated in Denisovsky Lane. This is a typical for that time three-entrance five-story building with 60 apartments of the I-511 series. The house has brick walls; all apartments, starting from the second floor, have a balcony. During the overhaul, the power supply networks, cold water supply, heat supply and sewerage systems will be updated here. The roof, basements, entrances of the house, as well as its facade will be put in order.

The work in these houses is part large-scale regional overhaul program… All of them are carried out in strict accordance with building standards.
