Now there are 43 technoparks in the city, six of them have received the status of a priority investment project.
The Moscow government supports investors who create technology parks in the capital for innovative business. For this, a special mechanism has been developed – the status of an investment priority project. This enables investors to reduce the overall regional tax burden. Thus, the regional income tax is reduced (13.5 percent instead of 18 percent), the property tax rate is zeroed, and the land rent is 0.01 percent of the cadastral value.
“Six sites now have the status of a priority investment project. The total investment in the creation of these technoparks has already exceeded 17 billion rubles, ”she said. Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.
For developers, a program has also been developed to subsidize part of the costs for the construction of technology parks. Investors can receive subsidies for the payment of interest on loans for the development of the property complex of the technopark (up to 300 million rubles per year), on loans for the purchase of equipment (up to 200 million rubles per year), for reimbursement of part of the leasing costs (up to 100 million rubles per year ), as well as a subsidy for technological connection (up to 100 million rubles).
For the construction of a future technopark, companies implementing a large-scale investment project can conclude a lease agreement for a land plot owned by Moscow for a period of six years without bidding.
The business model of creating a technopark has proven to be effective, which is why it is popular among investors. The share of vacant space in operating technoparks is just over one percent.
Now there are 43 technoparks in Moscow, six of which are being created as part of the city’s investment priority projects. The constructed buildings of the Kalibr and Strogino technoparks are already available for the placement of innovative companies.
Also on June 4, an agreement was signed on the implementation of a new investment priority project “NTV”. The investor will create the largest multimedia technology park in Russia. Potential residents will be organizations that work in the field of television production and television broadcasting. The investor will invest over 10 billion rubles in the technopark, more than 3.3 thousand jobs will be created.
