Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu visited the workshops of the new Industrial Technopark KSK (Key Systems and Components) in the Tver Region, where a wide range of components for transport engineering are produced.

The head of the military department got acquainted with the samples of products of the enterprises-residents of the industrial park “KSK”, developed and produced for various types of transport, including within the framework of import substitution projects.

In particular, the Minister of Defense was presented with an automated system for monitoring the availability, movement and consumption of fuel in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. An innovative fire detector based on new physical principles was also demonstrated. The device is capable of detecting smoke at a level of 1-2% of classic fire detectors.

Sergei Shoigu highly appreciated the production potential of the KSK Industrial Technopark, where eight modern production facilities are currently operating with a total headcount of over 1000 people.
