In the Primorsky Territory, an all-army competition for field training among the Marine Corps units “Marine Assault-2021” has ended.

The competition was held from June 8 to June 10 at two training grounds for the Pacific Fleet marines. They were attended by teams of marines of the Baltic, Northern, Black Sea and Pacific fleets, the Caspian Flotilla, as well as cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School and the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School.

Within the framework of the competition, the participants passed the “Scout’s Trail” and tested their strength at a distance of the four-kilometer “Trail of Survival”.

On the eve, the third final stage of the competition – “Relay” took place at the Cape Klerk landing range. At the final race, the crews of the BTR-82A armored personnel carriers overcame a 12 km route with eleven obstacles – a track bridge, a snake, a railway crossing, etc. armored vehicles afloat.

Following the results of three stages, the Pacific Fleet Marine Corps team won the Marines-2021 competition. The second place was taken by the cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School, the team of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School became the third.

Tomorrow, on the parade ground of the Pacific Fleet’s marines in Vladivostok, an award ceremony will be held for the winners and prize-winners of the competition, after which the competition will be officially closed.
