Servicemen of the united Russian military base Kant responded to the appeal of the staff of medical institutions in Bishkek and donated about 20 liters of blood for the needs of critically ill patients.

Before blood sampling, all donors underwent a comprehensive medical examination and adhered to a special diet and rest regimen. According to the staff of the Republican Blood Center, in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the number of donors has decreased, and the need for blood has increased. Servicemen of the Russian military base regularly take part in donor campaigns.

The joint Russian military base “Kant” is part of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces and is involved in ensuring the security of the airspace of the CSTO states. It is armed with Su-25 attack aircraft and Mi-8 helicopters.
