In accordance with the plan approved by the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, in preparation for the international stage of the Marines-2021 competition, an all-army stage on field training of marines was held at the Pacific Fleet training ground in Vladivostok.

During the third stage of the “Relay” competition on a 9 km route, including water sections, the teams demonstrated their skills in managing modern military equipment and its capabilities in extreme conditions. Throughout the entire distance, the participants overcame obstacles and fired at targets on the water from the weapons of armored personnel carriers.

The best result at the “Relay” stage was shown by the team of the Pacific Fleet, which, according to the results of all three competitive disciplines of the All-Army Competition “Marine Troopers-2021”, won first place in a bitter struggle.

For reference:

The main command of the Russian Navy has been the organizer of the international competition “Amphibious Assault” since 2015. The competition includes three stages. In the first two, the participants overcome an obstacle course and a “survival path”, according to the results of which the best divisions of the Marine Corps are determined in terms of physical endurance and fire training. As part of the third stage “Relay”, servicemen compete in the professional skill of controlling combat vehicles.

This year, seven teams took part in the competition – the Pacific, Northern, Baltic, Black Sea fleets, the Caspian Flotilla, the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School and the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School. In total – more than 200 servicemen.
