Expanding the production of competitive products, increasing export volumes, increasing the share of Russian instruments in the domestic market – such tasks are fixed in the strategy for the development of the industry of musical instruments and sound equipment until 2030, approved at a meeting of the Government on June 10.
Attached to the strategy is an action plan until 2024 that will help meet these challenges. It provides for the development of import substitution measures, stimulating consumer demand for Russian-made musical instruments, and creating a program for their popularization.
Part of the strategy focuses on audio equipment. It notes the significant potential of the wireless market, including microphones and headphones. According to the action plan, by the end of 2022 it will be necessary to determine the needs of cultural institutions for such equipment, and then expand its production.
The strategy also lists promising directions for the technical development of the industry. Among them – the production of basic-level instruments from synthetic materials, the development of electronic musical instruments that are close in their characteristics to acoustic counterparts, the development of the design direction of professional instruments.
The document identifies issues of relevance to the industry. We are talking, in particular, about the shortage of specialized personnel. So, in Russia there are still no training programs in specialties related to the manufacture and maintenance of tools. In this regard, the strategy assumes the possibility of creating a center of excellence, where specialists will be trained, and holding an all-Russian seminar on the restoration of tools.
The strategy is expected to more than double the production of musical instruments and equipment by 2030. This will make it possible to meet the needs of the domestic market for high-quality products, to form a structurally balanced industry that produces world-class instruments and equipment.
The document will be published
