At the airfields of the Rostov Region, Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and Stavropol Territory, solemn ceremonies of welcoming the crews-winners of the all-army stage of the Aviadarts – 2021 competition took place. The pilots of the 4th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Southern Military District (YuVO) were greeted with bread and salt and solemn rallies. They were congratulated by representatives of the command, colleagues and guests of honor.
Competitions were held in the Ryazan region from May 21 to June 5. More than 50 air crews of the Aerospace Forces took part in them. The YuVO team became the best in the overall team classification and received the challenge cup of the all-army competition “Aviadarts”.
The test was held in six nominations. The pilots from the Rostov region became the winners in fighter and bomber aviation, and the crews from the Krasnodar Territory in the assault aviation. In the army aviation, pilots from Stavropol became the leaders on the Mi-8 transport and combat helicopters, and from the Crimea on the Ka-52 attack helicopters.
The servicemen competed in physical training, visual aerial reconnaissance, piloting technique, navigation and combat use. The crews of fighter aircraft had a separate element – air combat, and army aviation pilots on Mi-8 helicopters competed in search and rescue support and the accuracy of water discharge from a suspended spillway device.
The rich program of the competition made it possible to demonstrate the capabilities of modern domestic aviation technology, and the crews to check their training and skill.
The winners of the all-army stage will be included in the national team and will represent Russia at the International Army Games. The preliminary international stage of the Aviadarts – 2021 competition is planned to be held in the Ryazan region from August 22 to September 4, 2021.
