Work on replacing asphalt, which was to take place from 11 to 14 June on the section of Tverskaya and 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya streets (on both sides from Nastasinsky lane to Lesnaya street), are postponed due to worsening weather.

According to forecasters, on June 12 and 13, heavy rain is expected in the capital, in places with thunderstorms and hail, as well as increased wind with gusts of up to 15 meters per second.

New dates for the work will be announced later.

On the 1.5-kilometer section, 49 thousand square meters of road surface will be replaced. The work will be carried out around the clock. The traffic for vehicles will be blocked.

The road surface on this section was last changed in 2017 using the technology of seamless laying (single carpet) simultaneously across the entire width of the carriageway. This allowed the roadbed to be operated for four seasons. For the roads of the first category, to which these streets belong, the asphalt overhaul period is three years.
