The participants learned about the volunteer projects operating in the capital and the best volunteer practices.

Resource center “Mosvolonter”conducted a training course for volunteers from 14 regions of the country. For six days, the participants studied the tools for the development of modern volunteering and shared their experience of completed projects.

Especially for the guests, Mosvolonter prepared master classes and training sessions in various areas of volunteering in the field of ecology, culture, sports, media and others. Volunteers took part in discussion meetings and

visited the Media Lab of the International Student Television Association, where they talked with leading experts. Using Mosvolonter as an example, they were told how to represent the activities of volunteers in social networks and the media. And during the interactive master classes, the listeners analyzed examples of successful coverage of the activities of the volunteer organization on the social network “Instagram”, tried to find mistakes and offered options on how to fix them.

Employees of Mosvolonter and partner organizations also shared their experience of creating a volunteer team. The trainees were told how to take into account the social motives of the participants and determine the individual interests of volunteers, why it is important to form a corporate and organizational culture within the volunteer corps, and what are the ways to support the team spirit.

In addition, the internship participants got acquainted with successful programs and methods of training volunteers, as well as with the forms of work of volunteer centers with partner organizations. One of the master classes of the cycle was devoted to the prevention of emotional burnout of volunteers. Personal development specialists taught trainees first aid techniques to restore the positive mood of the volunteers and talked about ways to create a favorable atmosphere in the volunteer corps.

Sightseeing tours of the city were conducted for the guests of the capital. They walked along the territory of VDNKh, Moscow City, the Luzhniki sports complex, and took a ride on a motor ship along the Moscow River.

Volunteers from Russian regions came to Moscow for a training internship

Evgenia Papakina organizes work in the field of youth policy in Kaliningrad, and volunteering is one of the most important and large-scale areas. During the training internship, the girl wanted to gain new experience and meet volunteers from other regions.


Vladimir Ivannikov has been organizing volunteer activities since 2014, under his leadership, the Krasvolonter project, a resource center for supporting the volunteer movement in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, is being developed.


The training internship was held within the framework of the volunteer mobility program of the Association of Volunteer Centers. The first internship in Moscow was attended by heads and employees of volunteer organizations from Altai, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk Territories, Amur, Vologda, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Moscow, Samara, Tambov, Tula, Yaroslavl Regions and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
