Construction and reconstruction of 15.8 kilometers of roads is planned.
In Moscow, the reconstruction of the transport interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with Verkhniye Polya and Kapotny Streets continues. Experts have started concreting overpass supports on the territory of a local shopping center. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Andrey Bochkarev.
“At present, as part of the reconstruction of the interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with Verkhniye Polya and Kapotny Streets, the arrangement of construction sites and headquarters is being completed, and work has begun on concreting the piles of the flyover supports on the territory of the Sadovod shopping center,” said Andrei Bochkarev.
According to him, the project provides for the construction and reconstruction of roads with a total length of 15.8 kilometers.
“This includes the construction of six flyovers, three overpasses, two overhead pedestrian crossings along the exit from Novoyegoryevskoye Highway to the inner side of the Moscow Ring Road, across Verkhniye Polya Street and one pedestrian tunnel in the embankment of the right-turn exit from Novoyegoryevskoye Highway to the outer side of the Moscow Ring Road,” added the Deputy Mayor …
Over the past 10 years, 18 interchanges on the Moscow Ring Road have been reconstructed and built in Moscow. Thanks to the reconstruction of obsolete clover interchanges, their capacity is increased by up to 30 percent.
