For the participants of the Vladivostok campaign, a program was organized there, during which they got acquainted with the history of the district and its cultural heritage. In particular, the Nakhimovites paid tribute to the memory of the Soviet naval sailors who died in August 1945 during the liberation of Korsakov from the Japanese militarists and laid wreaths at the obelisk in the central square of the city. Then the guests visited the Korsakov Museum of History and Local Lore.

Today the large landing craft “Oslyabya” arrived at the roadstead of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, where an extensive cultural program was prepared for the participants of the maritime practice.

During the internship, young sailors will study the shipbuilding organization, take part in ship navigation classes, and have the opportunity to test themselves as backup officers.
