More than 550 fire missions were performed by cadets and students of the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy at the Luga training ground in the Leningrad Region during the state final certification.

Graduates fired from modern samples of barreled artillery and multiple launch rocket systems during maneuverable defense in the offensive. Fire missions were carried out by the crews of 82-mm mortars 2B14 “Tray”, 120-mm mortar complexes 2S12A “Sani”, 122-mm howitzers D-30, 152-mm howitzers 2A36 “Hyacinth-B”, 2A65 “Msta-B”, 152 -mm self-propelled artillery mounts 2S19M2 “Msta-S” with an automated fire control system, 300-mm multiple launch rocket systems “Smerch”, “Tornado-S”, anti-tank missile systems “Kornet” and “Chrysanthemum”.

Artillery crews, receiving the coordinates of targets from operators of artillery reconnaissance means and unmanned aerial vehicle complexes, destroyed targets that imitated objects of a conventional enemy.

In addition, 100 percent of listeners and cadets defended their graduation qualification works.

The solemn ceremony of graduation and presentation of diplomas to graduates of the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy will take place on June 19, 2021 on Lenin Square in the city of St. Petersburg.
