Work is underway to reconstruct cable lines, heating networks, rainwater drainage, as well as re-arrange engineering communications.

In the west of the capital, at the intersection of Bagrationovsky Proezd and Barclay Street, it is planned to build a pedestrian crossing. Its length will be 122 meters, width – four to six meters, height will reach 2.3 meters. For the convenience of movement of people with limited mobility, four elevators will be installed.

“An underground pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Bagrationovskiy proezd, Barclay and Oleko Dundich streets will appear in 2023,” said the head of the city

Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov.

Currently, the dismantling of the ground pedestrian crossing, which is located in the construction zone, and the creation of a temporary crossing is underway. Also, work is underway on the reconstruction of cable lines, heating networks, rainwater drainage, re-laying of engineering communications.

Two staircases will be located in the area of ​​intersection of Oleko Dundich Street and Barclay Street: the first – from the side of the park, the second – near house 9 on Barclay Street. It will be possible to descend into the passage in the area of ​​house 18 on Bagrationovskiy proezd.

Two more staircases will be located on Barclay Street: on the even side – at house 8, and on the odd side – at house 9.

By the end of the year, 14 underground pedestrian crossings will be overhauled in the capital. Work has already been carried out on Proletarsky Prospekt. Currently, repairs are underway in the crossings located in Kashirsky proezd, on Andropov and Leninsky avenues.
