This year the pool of potential recipients has expanded.

The Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC) is launching a call for applications for grants for the implementation of complex innovative projects (CIP).

“The first competitive selection took place in 2020. During the selection process, 44 applications were submitted, eight of which were selected for a grant. The amount of approved financial support was 285 million rubles. This year, we have introduced several significant changes to the procedure governing the process of accepting and selecting applications for I&C. Now the pool of potential beneficiaries of this measure has expanded, and taking into account the new requirements, more companies will be able to apply for a grant and receive the support necessary for the development of their activities, ”said the head

Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow Alexey Fursin.

Through the grant, companies can compensate for up to 15 percent of project costs, but no more than 200 million rubles per year, or no more than 600 million rubles in total over three years. Both direct costs and expenses for payment of interest on a loanwithin the key rate of the Central Bank of Russia.

Reimbursable costs include expenses for the creation, acquisition, reconstruction or overhaul of capital construction projects, the acquisition of equipment and software, the acquisition of the results of intellectual activity or rights to them.

Since this year, the requirements for the number of personnel and salaries in the applicant organization have been canceled. However, a new condition has been added – the maximum requested amount should not exceed the amount of taxes paid to the Moscow budget (including personal income tax) over the past two years.

A separate block of innovations concerns companies implementing large-scale, resource-intensive innovative projects in conjunction with other organizations. Now, participants in cross-sectoral clusters as part of the MIC can apply for grant for cooperative complex projects… To meet the requirements for applicants, such projects must be implemented by consortia of two to five companies, and at least one of them must have equipment or software, the results of intellectual activity and a capital construction object in the capital. The support extends to future cooperation projects, and will compensate for costs incurred from January 1, 2022.

In addition, another key change was the increase in the share of compensation in relation to the costs of domestic equipment and software – up to 20 percent for integrated innovation projects and up to 25 percent for cooperative integrated innovative projects.

You can apply, as well as study the requirements and regulations on the website Moscow innovation cluster.
