All-Russian fencing competitions in epee and foil were held in Smolensk and Rostov-on-Don. Army fencers have won 12 awards of various denominations: six gold, two silver and four bronze.

Russian Armed Forces captain Inna Deriglazova won a gold medal at the All-Russian foil fencer competition, which took place in Rostov-on-Don. In the final, the army athlete was stronger than Larisa Korobeinikova – 15:12.

Alexandra Sunduchkova won the fight for the third place, being stronger than Leyla Pirieva 15:13.

In total, 33 foil fencers took part in the individual championship among women at the All-Russian competitions in Rostov-on-Don.

Army epee fencer Kristina Yasinskaya took first place in the individual championship at the All-Russian competition, which took place in Smolensk. In the final, she outplayed Anastasia Korneeva from Tatarstan – 15: 7.

Another CSKA sportswoman, Violetta Khrapina, took the third place on the podium. In the fight for the “bronze”, she defeated warrant officer Yulia Lichagina with a score of 15:13.

In total, 30 participants competed in the individual epee-fencers’ championship in Smolensk.

Ensign Yulia Lichagina, who played with Violetta Kolobova and Aizanat Murtazaeva for the Team-1 team, won first place in the women’s team championship at the All-Russian epee competition in Smolensk. In the final battle they were stronger than Team-4 (Anastasia Balyagina, Antonina Zakharenko, Anastasia Korneeva) – 45:36.

In the fight for the third place, the victory was won by the Team-2 team, which included Sergeant Anastasia Soldatova, Violetta Khrapina, Kristina Yasinskaya, who defeated the Team-5 team (Yulia Kadyrova, Marina Kesaeva, Inga Uspenskaya) – 45:29.

The first Russian team, which included Inna Deriglazova, Lieutenant Adelina Zagidullina and Larisa Korobeinikova, became the best at the All-Russian Foil Tournament in Rostov-on-Don. In the final match National Team-1 defeated National Team-2 (Marta Martyanova, Leyla Pirieva, Alexandra Sunduchkova) with a score of 45:32.

In the fight for bronze, Team-3 (Adelya Abdrakhmanova, warrant officer Anastasia Ivanova, Svetlana Tripapina) won the upper hand, defeating Team-5, which included Angelina Kononova, Elena Petrova, Valeria Rassolova, with a score of 45:29.

The first place at the All-Russian foil fencer’s tournament in Rostov-on-Don was taken by the Team-1 team, which consisted of three fencers Anton Borodachev, Kirill Borodachev and Vladislav Mylnikov.

In the final they turned out to be stronger than the Team-2 team, which included Timur Arslanov, Iskander Akhmetov, senior lieutenant Timur Safin – 45:31.

The third place was taken by the Team-4 (Grigory Semenyuk, Dmitry Trofimov, Askar Khamzin), who defeated Team-3, which included three army men Lieutenant Dmitry Zherebchenko, Alexander Sirotkin, captain Alexei Cheremisinov, with a score of 45:44.

Senior Lieutenant Pavel Sukhov was in the lead at the All-Russian tournament of epee fencers in Smolensk. In the final, he defeated Sergei Bidu with a score of 15:12.

In the fight for the bronze medal, Kirill Gurov defeated Ivan Limarev – 15:14.
