Kamchatka hydrographic service specialists carry out seasonal maintenance of aids to navigation in Avacha Bay to ensure smooth operation.
In the course of the work, light-optical devices will be checked, focusing, lamps and power sources will be replaced. Completed repairs after winter of floating, coastal signs and lights, automated beacons in the area of responsibility.
In total, over 130 different aids to navigation equipment will be serviced during the navigation period. To accomplish this task, the hydrographic boats BGK-209 and BGK-481 of the Kamchatka region of the hydrographic service are involved.
In a week, the specialists will begin to carry out the same list of works on navigation aids for navigation in the area of the Shupunsky, Krugly and Zhelny capes.
