During the training sessions with grenade launchers, servicemen of the combined arms army of the Western Military District, stationed in the Leningrad Region, performed control firing exercises from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers at emerging and moving targets.

When passing the check, the servicemen hit about 150 different targets imitating tanks and armored personnel carriers of a conditional enemy, located at a distance of 50 to 100 meters. The exercises were performed individually by each trainee from different positions, in the daytime and at night.

The servicemen demonstrated the skills of covert movement on the battlefield, equipping and camouflaging firing positions with improvised means, determining the distance to the target and making adjustments for firing in appropriate meteorological conditions.

During the training camp, about 50 practical and theoretical sessions will be held with grenade launchers. More than 100 servicemen and about 20 units of military equipment are involved in them.
