More than 120 servicemen took part in the competition, consisting of 9 teams representing various types and branches of troops – 12 Main Directorate, Aerospace Forces, Baltic Fleet, Main Missile and Artillery Directorate, Missile Forces and Artillery. In addition, more than 40 cadets of military universities participated in the competition, training specialists of transportation units – the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy (St. Petersburg), VUNC Air Force “VVA named after Professor N.Ye. Zhukovsky and Yu.A. Gagarin” (g Voronezh), P.S. Nakhimov Black Sea Higher Naval School

The competition included three stages – “Transport maneuver”, “Fire biathlon” and “Control line”, during which the teams fulfilled the standards for fire training and NBC protection, overcame the rough terrain as part of an automobile convoy, carried out loading and unloading operations from mock-ups of large-sized ammunition for railway platforms and helicopters of military transport aviation. Individual training was assessed when passing the relay race on a special fire-assault strip.

The winner among the cadet units was the team of the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy.

The first place among military professionals was taken by the 12th team of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense from the city of Trekhgorny, Chelyabinsk Region. The second and third places were taken by the teams of the Missile Forces and Artillery (Kursk) and the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (Biysk), respectively.

The winners were congratulated by the Chief of Staff – First Deputy Chief of the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Nikolai Sheludyakov. He noted that the level of training of military specialists of transportation units is growing every year – this can be seen in the reduction of the time for passing the stages by teams, as well as the establishment of new records when fulfilling the standards of the competition.
