More than 2 thousand vaccine kits have been delivered to Kamchatka for servicemen of formations and units of the Troops and Forces in the northeast and the Pacific Fleet Submarine Forces against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19.

The first and second components of the Russian vaccine Gam-COVID-Vac were delivered to Kamchatka by military transport aircraft. Of this batch of the drug, over 300 doses of vaccines for vaccination have already been sent to units and subdivisions located in the area of ​​the administrative center of the Klyuchevskoy rural settlement – the village of Klyuchi.

Through the Kamchatka Branch of the Pacific Fleet Naval Hospital, the drug is centrally dispensed in special thermal containers in parts for use. At the medical centers, teams of specialists have been formed who have undergone special training in vaccination. Vaccination against coronavirus infection is carried out free of charge on a voluntary basis, taking into account medical indicators.

To conduct a vaccination campaign among military personnel, civilian personnel and family members of military sailors, 25,000 sets of Gam-COVID-Vac were delivered to the Pacific Fleet.
