In the capital of Bulgaria, the city of Sofia, the international qualifying tournament “European Multi-Games” 2021 has ended. The rank and file of the CSKA sports company, Sevastopol Rustam Odinaev and Fedor Gavrilenko won silver and bronze medals, respectively.

450 athletes from 30 countries took part in the competition. Private sports company CSKA, Sevastopol, master of sports Rustam Odinaev performed in the weight category of 74 kilograms. In total, Rustam had four fights and in the final fight he lost to Ukrainian Vladislav Yarko, having won silver. During three rounds the score was even, and even the additional “golden” round ended in a draw. The decision of the duel was determined by the electronic touch system.

Private sports company CSKA, Sevastopol, master of sports Fedor Gavrilenko performed in the weight category of 54 kilograms. In total, Fedor spent three fights, and in the semifinals he lost to another representative of the Russian team, Vladimir Gritsenko, winning a bronze medal.

At these competitions, athletes are awarded points, 6 athletes who have scored the highest number of points in each weight category are allowed to participate in the 2021 Olympic Games without selection.
