The government continues to support low-income families. Over 55.3 billion rubles will be additionally allocated to the regions for monthly payments for children from 3 to 7 years old. The order on the distribution of these funds was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

In 2021, 199 billion rubles were already allocated for this support measure. The need for additional funding is associated with the new procedure for providing payments. Now, depending on the situation in the family, their size can be equal not only to 50%, but also to 75% and 100% of the regional subsistence minimum per child.

Monthly payments for children from 3 to 7 years old were introduced by presidential decree in 2020. They are received by low-income families. In his May Address to the Federal Assembly, Vladimir Putin instructed to make such support even more targeted. In this regard, the rules for granting payments have been improved.

You can make a payment by submitting an electronic application on the portal of public services, with a personal visit to the MFC or social security authorities.

The issue was reviewed and approved at the meeting of the Government on June 17.
