The event was held within the framework of the All-Russian month of anti-drug orientation and popularization of a healthy lifestyle
The concert program included excerpts from popular operettas, musicals, pop songs and Russian romances performed by Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of international competitions Victoria Galtseva and soloists-vocalists of the theater Ilya Zuev and Nasimi Narimanov. Together with professional artists, the convicts who are engaged in musical creativity in the club also took to the stage, performing songs and rap compositions of their own composition.
After the concert, the head of the department for educational and social work with convicts of the Penitentiary Directorate of the Territory, Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service Denis Kozyrev, handed letters of thanks from the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Altai Territory to the Deputy Chairman of the Public Council under the Federal Penitentiary Service Lyudmila Ponomoreva and a member of the Public Council Ilya Zuev.
Also, the participants of the theater studio “Beyond the Boundary” LIU-1 were awarded with diplomas of the Altai branch of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia. Amateur artists and artistic director of the studio Ilya Zuev were awarded by the professional art community of the region for the play “The Fool” based on the story of the same name by Nikolai Leskov. Lyudmila Ponomoreva presented gifts from the Public Council at the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Territory to all the participants of the theater studio LIU-1.
“When we watch a performance or a concert, we see only a part of the big work of introducing culture,” said Lyudmila Valentinovna. “At the same time, we must also thank the administration of the institution for supporting the creative initiatives of the convicts.
