Three new buildings have already been commissioned, two more houses are under construction.

By the end of 2024, it is planned to relocate more than two thousand people from 12 old houses in the Akademichesky district under the renovation program.

“The renovation program started in the Academic District at the end of 2018. The move has now been made for residents of seven houses, of which four have already been dismantled. In total, by the end of 2024, at the first stage of the program, it is planned to resettle 12 houses in which 2.4 thousand people live, “he said.

In total, in the Academic District, under the renovation program, new apartments will be provided to 4.3 thousand residents of 19 houses. Six launch sites were selected for relocation.

“Three starting houses have already been put into operation, two more are under construction, and construction and installation work is to be carried out on one site,” said the head of the capital Department of Urban Development Policy Sergey Levkin.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. Residents are provided with comfortable apartments in modern buildings, and social infrastructure facilities are being built in the districts and new recreation areas are being created. The program will affect a total of about one million people, resettled 5175 houses. More than 500 launch sites have already been selected.

Since the start of the program, new housing has already been received over 31 thousand people… The city provides support to new settlers at the stage of paperwork and when moving.
