Order of June 19, 2021 No. 1667-r

From June 29, 2021, it will be possible to transport pesticides and agrochemicals to Russia only through certain border checkpoints. This will make it possible to strengthen control over the circulation of such substances, as well as to exclude the entry of dangerous counterfeit products into the country. The list of checkpoints was approved by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

There are 14 checkpoints in the list. These are four automobile border checkpoints – Burachki, Zabaikalsk, Ubylinka, Shumilkino, three railway ones – Valuiki, Zabaikalsk, Posin, three air ones – Vladivostok (Knevichi), Moscow (Domodedovo), Moscow (Sheremetyevo) and four sea – Big port of St. Petersburg, Vladivostok , Vostochny, Novorossiysk.

The list is formed taking into account the equipment of the checkpoints with special equipment that allows you to track the volume and quality of imported products. The FCS and Rosselkhoznadzor will supervise this work.

The signed order creates conditions for the application of new norms of the federal law “On the safe handling of pesticides and agrochemicals”, which were adopted at the end of 2020. According to these norms, the Rosselkhoznadzor was empowered to control the import of pesticides and agrochemicals and over the observance of the regulations for their use in the production of agricultural products. The main goal of the changes is to improve state control in the field of safe handling of pesticides and agrochemicals.
