Resolution of June 19, 2021 No. 937

The maximum contract price for the purchase of goods and services by state-owned companies from small and medium-sized enterprises will be increased to 800 million rubles. This resolution was approved by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Previously, the cost of one contract was limited to 400 million rubles. In some cases, this led to the fragmentation of the purchase into smaller lots, which in turn became an obstacle to the performance of work. For example, during the construction of the road, it was necessary to conclude contracts for unjustifiably small sections of the route. This problem will now be resolved.

The ceiling price fixed in the resolution is linked to the criterion for classifying an enterprise as small, according to which the company’s revenue should not exceed 800 million rubles per year.

The adopted decision will improve the procedure for purchasing goods and services from SMEs, and will support representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.

Amendments have been made by the signed document to the Government Decree of December 11, 2014 No. 1352.
